MATH Not METH - Is a project being initiated as an adjunct to the Camp One program locate at Hesquait [Gold River] BC Canada. It is design the repeat the success of the initial program in an urban context. The system being assemble will include the largest Mathematica Grid [960 Processors and 2500+ ‘Seats] in a distribute array supported from Three locations in North America with a Fourth planned for the UK in early 2008. while the focus of the program is the repatriations of minds lost to the abyss that is Crystal Meth addiction, the grid will be freely available to all who may find its capabilities useful in the advancement of Mathematical Literacy.
With an initial startup outlay of US $61Million, there are many who have question the efficacy of such a venture. However, with the success of the Camp one program bounding on 97%, and the average cost too society of US 1Million+ over a Five Year period for each addict, the costs can be more than justified.
