As mentioned at the NA2 meeting in Geneva, we also have two new Indsutry days lined up for October and November in Catania, Italy and in Helsinki Finland respectively.

For Partners wishing to Organise an Indsutry Day, experience shows such days are best targeted at individual business sectors (such as automotive bio and finance sectors).

Other issues highlighted may cover specific technological issues such as data security matters, Grid training, SMEs deploying Grid. Where appropriate, topics may focus on a theme specific to the region where the Industry day is being organised and on how EGEE can respond to the particular local business needs; in short – any topic that looks at understanding the competitive advantages and benefits of Grid adoption by enterprises with a view to promoting industrial use of EGEE Grid Infrastructure and technology, is suitable for an Industry Day.
