6th Austrian-Hungarian Workshop on Distributed and Parallel Systems

Call For Papers. DAPSYS 2006 is organized jointly with the 2nd Austrian Grid Symposium and is expected to be a major event for vendors, researchers and teachers.

DAPSYS (Austrian-Hungarian Workshop on Distributed and Parallel Systems) is an international biannual conference series dedicated to all aspects of distributed and parallel computing. Participants of the two events will share invited talks, tutorials and social events. Contributed paper presentations will take place in separate tracks in parallel.
Papers presenting original research, educational methods, new concepts, and results of international projects are being sought. Papers describing clusters, cluster programming, grid systems and related fields are especially welcome.

Topics of interest of DAPSYS include but are not limited to the following:
Cluster and Grid systems; Distributed and Grid middleware; Parallel and distributed programming languages and algorithms; Formal models for parallel and distributed computing; Software engineering and development tools; Problem solving environments; Grid architectures; Grid resource management; Grid workflow; Grid application support tools; Distributed information management; Distributed storage systems; Advanced cluster/grid applications.

Paper submission is now open. Paper submission: 16 June 2006. Notification of acceptance: 14 July 2006. Camera-ready papers: 8 September 2006.
Post-workshop proceedings will be published by Springer.
Contributors are invited to submit a full paper not exceeding 8 single-column pages in English. The title page should contain a 100-word abstract and five specific keywords. DAPSYS 2006 accepts submissions only in electronic form via Authors' gateway on the . Papers must be formatted according to the instructions published on the web pages.
