Announcement - D-Grid launches new newsletter

After more than two years of intensive work within more than 20 research and industry grid projects, the German D-Grid initiative has this week launched a newsletter to present their results to the international grid community.

The first covers:

the current status of
basic components of middleware and software infrastructure in D-Grid
consolidating the grid infrastructure in German astronomy
C3Grid - a tool for climate research
the HEP Community Grid project
the D-Grid All Hands Meeting, and
the 3rd IEEE International Conference on e-Science and Grid Computing
a list of selected publications generated from D-Grid

to the newsletter are available in German and English.

Announcement of the 6th International GridKa School - September 8th to 12th, 2008 - registration now open. The school is arranged by the Steinbuch Centre for Computing (SCC) of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, together with EGEE
