EGEE '07 - Registration and Call for Exhibition Open! To register for the conference, tourist programmes and to make a hotel reservation, please fill in the on-line registration form or the downloadable version. One form has to be filled in for each delegate.

EGEE'07 - Call for Exhibition Open!

The EGEE’07 programme will feature a demo and exhibition area where businesses and Grid related projects are invited to present themselves and their particular field of interest to the Grid community, to meet and network with future partners in EGEE, other projects and international participants from scientific institutes in any different fields.

EGEE'07 provides a platform to discuss connections with different community users and related projects, and how to drive forward world-class Grid technologies.

The conference will be opened by Minister István Hiller, Minister of Education and Culture.

The program will see daily plenaries from world-renowned keynote speakers like:

Francine Berman, Professor in the UC San Diego Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Fellow of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), and first holder of the High-Performance Computing Endowed Chair in the Jacobs' School of Engineering at UC San Diego. Dr. Berman is a pioneer in grid computing and an international leader in the development of cyberinfrastructure.

Francesco Calabrese, graduated cum laude in 2004 with a degree in Informatics Engineering from the University of Naples Federico II, Italy. Since then, he has been pursuing a PhD in Informatics and Automatics Engineering in the Department of Computer and Systems Engineering in Naples, where he researchs on hybrids control systems, embedded control systems, CNC machines and finite-time stability.

Wolfgang Gentzsch, Coordinator of the German D-Grid Initiative, visiting scientist at the Renaissance Computing Institute at UNC Chapel Hill, and an adjunct professor of computer science at Duke and NCState universities in North Carolina. He is a member of the US President's Council of Advisors for Science and Technology, PCAST.
