New tutorials LCG-2 and gLite

May 2006 sees the launch of new comprehensive tutorials on LCG-2 and gLite middleware prepared in cooperation with the EGEE project by GridwiseTech.

The world’s largest grid infrastructure, maintained by the EGEE project, is based on LCG-2 and gLite, i.e. grid middleware toolkits containing services such as workload management, data management, information system, etc.

From a commercial point of view, they enable the integration of computational and storage resources in the company and offer a possibility of using external resources if needed. Also, they are a platform suitable for selling computational power.

GridwiseTech offers consulting, training and development related to LCG and gLite middlewar.

The program has been prepared in cooperation with the EGEE project.
