ELUB is one of the largest and oldest universities in Hungary, with a background of a large scale of computational applications in natural sciences from the Faculty of Sciences. The Department of Information systems is the coordinator of Grid applications of the University. It will organize conferences, meetings; it is participating in the domestic Grid project; operates an LCG node settled from own financial resources. The Faculty of Informatics and the Faculty of Sciences has recently started a new cooperation in different areas of scientific computing.
