THE ABDUS SALAM INTERNATIONAL CENTRE FOR THEORETICAL PHYSICS (ICTP) is an international institute of research and high level training in pure and applied physics and mathematics offered mainly to developingm countries scientists.. ICTP is currently implementing a national Grid infrastructure for financial and economic research in the framework of the "EGrid project", funded by the Italian Ministry for research (See www.eGrid.it for further details). The EGrid project and applications within it are now also participating at the EGEE project as "generic application". Role in EGEE-II: dissemination and training activities in developing countries
