UCM The Distributed Systems Architecture Group is part of the Computer Architecture Department at Madrid Complutense University (UCM, Spain). Its main activity is research and development of Grid technology, its deployment to build computational infrastructures and its application to solve largescale
scientific, engineering, and business problems. The group leads the GridWay project (www.Gridway.org), whose main aim is the development of a loosely coupled meta-scheduler for Globus based Grid infrastructures. The group is currently coordinating the Spanish Initiative in Grid
Middleware.
