Description:

RRC KI Leading state organization for nuclear research in Russia. Participation in many nuclear experiments and projects over the world. A coordinator of the ITER project from Russia. Largest network operation centre in Russia, provision of international links for Russian NRENs. Expertise in security issues. Participation in LCG – support of ALICE and other HEP VOs. Participation in EGEE – main achievements : creation of new Russian CA (from summer 2005), provision of grid security and networking for RDIG, creation of regional VO for Fusion applications (summer 2005). EGEE-II major roles: SA1 - provide CA and all security issues, management of resources/SLA; SA2 - network provision for Russia in EGEE and participation in common tasks; NA4 - initiator of the fusion application in EGEE to make it as basic application, provide development toward to the ITER Grid based on the EGEE experience.
