Description:

SARA is the Dutch National High Performance Computing and Networking Centre. It supports science and businesses with processing of large-scale calculations and visualization of complex data. It is responsible for housing and system management of Dutch national supercomputer and for housing and support for several other supercomputers of Dutch universities and for technical and operational management of the national research network Surfnet. SARA is partner in national and European Grid projects like DEISA. In EGEE-II SARA will play a role in Grid operations and application support.
