Description:

SINP MSU Leading HEP and Nuclear Physics institution in Higher Education area in Russia. Participation in LCG: hosting all four HEP VOs. Participation in EU DataGRID Testbed activity. Participation in EGEE – main achievements: creation of CIC (5th in EGEE), support of MW
deployment, run essential grid services and weekly on-duty support from May 2005; dissemination and involvement of new user communities in Russia (Earth Science RC has appeared in spring 2005 and three new RCs for Computational Chemistry to appear in autumn 2005), start to support of grid services for regional VOs (in August 2005 five regional VOs created); creation and support of first Russian CA (from 2002 to summer 2005); contribution to GT3/GT4 evaluation. EGEE-II major roles: SA1 - run essential regional grid services, weekly operator on duty support, grid services for VOs, ROC management and representation in coordination; NA2 - promoting EGEE infrastructure for various user communities in Russia.
Hosting HEP, Fusion, Biomed, Earth Science and generic VOs. Support of various regional VOs. Management of Russia federation in the EGEE-II project (RDIG consortium).
