Description:

TAU is a major university in Israel coordinating Israel Grid collaboration (Israel Academic Grid - IAG) together with the IUCC, Israel's NREN. SA1: Grid support centre for Israel. Responsible for resource induction, operation and user support in Israel. Contributing to running the essential Grid infrastructure and VO services. Responsible for interacting with GRNET and the other SEE partners for the smooth operation of the distributed ROC. Will provide the necessary operational and statistical information for the deliverables. NA3 : Provide a series of training sessions in Israel, first to the HEP users and then to other user groups in the IAG. Interaction with the other training teams for feedback. NA4: Create involvement of communities other than HEP in Grid applications, in particular biomedical.
