Description:

The Advanced Internet Research group of the Informatics Institute is active in the area of Grid Middleware, Optical Networking and the Internet. Members participate in various EU and national research projects such as NextGrid, GigaPort Next Generation, Collaboratory.NL and Virtual Lab for E-science. Members are also active in standards bodies such as the IETF and GGF. In EGEE the group focuses on Grid security middleware.
