The conference provides the ultimate platform for European and Chinese state-of-the-art Grid technologies and projects to showcase results, discover new application areas and learn about future advancements. This is a unique opportunity to interact and exchange knowledge with some of China’s key players, decision makers, CEOs and CTOs.

EchoGRID () and EUChinaGRID () offer this conference to promote cross-fertilisation between Grid-related projects and initiatives in Europe and China by interacting with top Grid research and industrial communities, exchange experiences and best practices for Grid middleware and applications interoperability.

Fostering collaboration in Grid research and technologies by defining short, mid, and long-term visions, will establish a common, global Grid research agenda, which highlight combined experiences from both European and Chinese experts, both from academia and industry solidifying a common link between high-level Grid initiatives and allowing mutual European and Chinese co-operations in the future.
